Sales were peculiarly abundant Saturday December 10th, however the one that was at the top of our itinerary was the intimate holiday sale hosted by Gabriela Artigas and Anita Herrera. On display were some of LA’s brightest and best designers all whom were in a cheerful mood offering their current season’s collection at a fraction of the going price.
It was difficult not to be overwhelmed by all the deals and shop entirely for ourselves but we managed just fine thanks to the delightful distraction of some bubbly, home made sweet tartelettes and cookies (lovingly made by Tere Artigas herself), and savory sliders by Free Range- a fabulous new catering company. Here is the rundown of the purchases that you just might get a little jealous about, but hey, you snooze you lose!
From
Persephine a perfume roller for mom
; military grade wallet for dad from
Parabellum; leather picnic sack style clutch for the BFF from
Marie Turnor; thick cardigans for the older brother and thin t-shirts for the younger brother from
Farm Tactics; a cream reptile cuff for the sis-in-law from
Bagstil.
Alejandro Artigas (another talented artist-sibling) shared his furniture line,
Artless Corporation, which is left us wishing we could be adopted into the family not to mention a strong urge to redecorate the digs for the new year. Finally, we must confess that personal indulgence was had with Gaby’s delicate rings and things- the leather fringe pouch for crystals, gold tusk ring, and bobble pearl necklace- were added last minute. The overall shopping experience in the the ethereal landscaped garden was the most hassle-free activity we we have done all season- cheers to that!
